Zahret Al Madaen for Community Development works with children in the slums of Jerusalem, focusing on education, vocational training, health, counseling and support services.

Areas served are the old city of Jerusalem, eastern Jerusalemite villages and marginalized areas such as Silwan and Abu Tur. “You Can” project is an academic training project including first aid, English and Hebrew lessons, with an overarching goal to keep students in school.

Grand Circle Foundation provided funding for computers, educational field trips, teacher salaries and more.
