Nepal Flood Relief
Total donations: $148,434 | Partnership: 2026
The trust and generosity of our travelers and donors has allowed us to quickly provide support to our longstanding partners, Wine to Water and the Joint Distribution Committe.
$50,000 to Wine to Water will provide 317 DROP household filters, giving these households access to clean water. The 2nd tier of support will restore the community drinking water systems in Dhading (900 households), Maleku (300 households), Majhtar (100 households) and Benighat Rorang/Kodanda (500 households) giving thousands of people renewed availabiltiy of safe, clean water over the next few months.
$70,000 to the JDC is supporting their partnership with the Dhulikhel hospital to deliver mobile healthcare services in flood-affected areas. The clinics will move regularly between prioritized villages, enabling communities to receive ongoing care, follow-up consultations, and treatment for both acute and chronic conditions.
Over 12 months, the program is expected to provide care to at least 4,800 patients who would otherwise face significant barriers to accessing medical services.
$28,434 to a new organization, the Pasang Lhamu Mountaineer Foundation, which will support almost 500 children at four community schools with winter clothing, footwear, hygiene supplies and educational materials to help students return to and remain engaged in school.
