Saturday Sept. 9th, a devastating earthquake struck western Morocco, resulting in over 2,000 lives lost and widespread destruction.

The regional OAT team sprang into action, providing help with the aid of OAT travelers onsite, purchasing critical supplies and delivering them to a local hospital.

Likewise, Grand Circle Foundation immediately sent $10,000 to our Morocco Regional Manager and another $10,000 to the Joint Distribution Committee—funds to aid 240 households with cooking utensils, blankets, food, and more.

We’ll be providing additional support as more local organizations are identified, that can get aid directly to those in need.
