Kivotos is a youth center, soup kitchen, and shelter that cares for 150 children 7 days per week. Kivotos is dedicated to providing a safe place for children from hundreds of ethnic backgrounds, religions, languages, and cultures.

Grand Circle Foundation’s support was used to provide some basic necessities for the shelter including clothes, shoes, pencils, notebooks, books, and other essentials.

The rented two-story building in Akadimias Platonos is open from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week. This is where 130 youngsters are fed daily and assisted with their homework – they attend local public schools. They take a supermarket bag with food home with them at night. Clothes, shoes, pencils, notebooks, diapers and other essentials are handed out daily to children and parents.
