Kia Luang School is located in the middle of Kia Luang Village. There are only 2 classrooms for Grade 1 and 2, total 40 students who are children from Laoloum and Hmong families and educated by only one teacher Mrs.Sinkham.

GCF has supported the school by purchasing 18 sets of tables and chairs for classroom, a book shelf for the teacher to keep the teaching tools and repainting the classroom building as part of the Laos regional office team’s Community Service.

We also completed a new library filled with reading books, a new playground under the thatched roof, and a new set of uniforms and in 2015 installed water filters so that the children would have clean drinking water.
