The “Bund Naturschutz”  (Bavarian Society for the Protection of Nature) in Germany is the largest and the most successful Bavarian organization for the protection of nature and the environment.

With more than 170,000 members, this association actively advocates for preservation and protection of the natural flora, fauna and environment in Bavaria. Grand Circle Foundation donated $30,000 to help create a conducive environment for endangered species of fish and river birds to breed through the re-introduction of some species and the replanting of plants along the banks of the Danube.
