GCF has been a partner with Santa Chiara since March 2017. It is a small church run by local nuns in Palermo.

The church offers an after school program for local children in the neighborhood, which consists of both Sicilians and diverse immigrant families. Children are welcome to come as they please to the church’s after school program and day care facilities read, learn English, and play.

GCF donated the funds to purchase a smart TV to assist in the children’s English lessons.  The TV has been utilized in the lessons for the children of all grades and has assisted in expanding more interactive learning lessons.

The foundation also donated the funds for a Theater Course which would train the older children in theater performance and as local guides.
