Bright Future English School was founded in 2010 by two teachers, a married couple, who had been offering classes to students in their home.
After teaching all day, the couple would return to their home and teach 40 local children. A villager suggested they leave their teaching positions and open their own school.
When the school opened in 2010, there were 101 students, and today there are 450 students. Students coming from Khilchipur Village and other local villages, up to 25 kilometers away. Students are taught all the subjects in English, including math, science, history and other languages including Hindi, Sanskrit, and Udru.
Projects funded include a borehole and water filter to provide a steady supply of clean water; benches and desks; and solar power.
