OAT wins Travel + Leisure's Global Vision Award for Leadership

We're proud to share some good news with you—we have won a 2013 Global Vision Award for Leadership from Travel + Leisure. This award recognizes the outstanding efforts of tour operators, hotels, and cruise lines that are transforming the world through travel. This is the second time that we received a Global Vision Award—in 2010, we received one for our community contributions worldwide.

This year's Global Vision Awards recognize five categories—conservation, sustainability, preservation, development, and leadership—and represent the latest and best examples of the power of travel as an engine of positive change. The winners were selected by an esteemed panel of judges, including Bonnie Burnham, President and CEO of the World Monuments Fund, and John Wood, founder and board co-chair for the literacy nonprofit Room to Read. You can find us both on their website and in the magazine's November 2013 issue.

This is a great honor for us. Being recognized by Travel + Leisure reminds us that we truly are changing people's lives, and it encourages us to continue our efforts on behalf of travelers like you. We wish to thank all of our loyal travelers for their continued support—especially those of you who so generously donate your time and funds to make a difference.
