E-Newsletter July 2011
The late Sir Edmund Hillary was more than just an Honorary Director of Grand Circle Foundation. He was a trusted advisor and a friend. His tremendous values live on in his widow, Lady June Hillary, who remains a dear friend to this day. We are honored to feature her this month as a Gutsy Leader.

There's a bit of the Hillary philosophy in everything we strive to do at Grand Circle Foundation: give villages what they tell us they need, rather than what we think they need. And when a project is finished, it belongs not to the Foundation, but to the community. We are grateful to have learned from the best—and to share what we've learned for the future.
