While every project funded by Grand Circle Foundation is dear to our hearts, we have a special fondness for the Next Generation Leaders program, which came to a close earlier this month. To watch these young people learn and grow so much in such a short time is always incredibly inspiring—and saying goodbye as they go off to college reminds us of the hopes and fears we experienced with our own children years ago. We wish our young leaders the very best of luck in this exciting phase in their lives.

Tarangire Primary School: A New Partnership in Tanzania
Established in 1973 with just 100 students, the Tarangire Primary School now serves 600 children from the Maasai villages surrounding Tarangire National Park. The school receives just $3 per student from the government each year, yet uniforms and textbooks cost $50 per student per year. The dire needs here coupled with the strong leadership of the school principal made Tarangire a perfect candidate for Foundation support.
